This may sound really bad but studies show that most of these bank robberies were committed with a help coming from one or more employees from the bank. Yes, this may sound like a movie scenario where a smooth bank robbery was accomplished because of an inside job but it is really happening. Even though all of your employees had a background check and even if you interviewed them personally and believed that they are all honest and trustworthy, you will never know what they have in mind and their need for the money. You should have surveillance dvr cards all the time such that these cameras are known by you and maybe another employee. Take time to watch everyday movements of your employees and customers and you will realize if there will be any changes in their actions.

You should also assign someone who would watch the dvr video cards and an alarm that can be easily pressed once he saw the intrusion. You can have someone be at an office where not all employees can enter. This way, your bank can be guarded even though that person is not actually on the premises. Make sure that the camera is really hidden because some smart robbers have good plans of what to do with these cameras.

Change the location of your dvr cards once in a while. Select few trusted ones who can know these changes so that not all employees were aware where the cameras are. Do not dispose your tapes for a few months because you will never know when you might need it. Bank robbers sometimes pretend to be loyal customers who return often to the bank so that they can have a thorough inspection of the premises. Be aware of these things. Your record might help you someday to determine the culprits when robbery occurs.

Be wary of those employees you have especially those that you trust about security codes among others. Sometimes, with the information they have about the bank, they take advantage of it so that the perpetrators can have a smooth operation when everybody else is gone. It doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t trust them. Rather, just be aware of what is happening around. Be sensitive to others not only about your profits. Open your eyes to the possible betrayals. Use a dvr capture cards or a spy among your employees. These are the reasons why you should keep your surveillance open all the time.
